
Project development and execution for a community kitchen in Amsterdam
This ongoing project entails comprehensive freelance project management for De Sering, a vegan kitchen and community center in Amsterdam, as well as scaling operations to its second location, Sering Centraal. I design and execute projects across four key areas: daily operations, volunteer and community management, financial administration, and event production. I focus on new operational initiatives that empower the community; a primary example is the development of a participatory financial reporting body to increase transparency across the De Sering community. For each project, I facilitate the logistics required to bring community activities to life, from resource allocation to on-site problem solving, ensuring that the organization sustains its growth while deepening its impact on Amsterdam.
